Brilliant marketing ploy to triple profits... Zerg campaign will the the next expansion pack, the Protoss campaign will be in the expansion pack following the Zerg campaign expansion pack.
All of which I will buy, God I hate Blizzard so much Signature locked for editing a moderator's warning. Zymurgist |

Originally by: Aisley Tyrion Kerrigan looked better in old Starcraft. And by better I mean meaner. And what's with the frickin' high heels?!
Otherwise the cinematics are pretty awesome. I don't like the game graphics though, too cartoony (which seems to be the Blizzard way nowadays).
You can always count on Blizzard for amazing cinematics and story |

Originally by: Cyprus Black Edited by: Cyprus Black on 29/07/2010 05:00:05 Wow, I'm reading the reviews on SC2 and it doesn't look good. Pretty much what I expected though. Rabid fanboys giving 10/10 scores while rational people are giving scores ranging from 2/10 to 6/10.
What are the main problems? -Overpriced -Major game features missing -Entire campaigns for other races missing and require separate, yet full price, purchasing -Super heavy and restrictive anti-piracy DRM (think Spores DRM x10) -Near inability to function offline -Nickle and diming players for "extra" content -Lack of LAN -Repurchase of the game required to play cross region -No private or group chat channels -No offline play for your main account -Few maps to play on (gotta pay for extra maps) -No spawning
If it weren't for the thousands of delusional fanboys and dishonest "professional" game reviewers working around the clock to counter all the bad reviews, this game would've been considered a flop. Right now it's looking like a 3/5.
My roommate bought it, and was completely disgusted with most of the listed problems above. I sure as hell won't be buying it.
I love it so I cancel out your bad vibes
Also I'm usually high so I cancel out everyone's bad vibes Signature locked for editing a moderator's warning. Zymurgist |

Originally by: oniplE I bought it yesterday, first impressions are good. I dont know why, but the game somehow looks very solid, very professional, like a lot of time was spent on getting it exactly right. I'll have to play some more before i can comment on the gameplay, but so far so good.
About 10 years in the making... it better look solid Signature locked for editing a moderator's warning. Zymurgist |

Originally by: Zeba And despite all the valid arguments about why sc2 is not even as good a game as the orignal sc along with blizzards focus on getting third party modders to actually make content for it I predict it will sell at least as good as mw2.
Why? Welp lets just say that overall when all factors are considered, gamerz r dum.
